[accidental video ]
[When the feed cuts on there are a few things so incredibly obvious about the scene that anyone familiar with Klavier would know instantly that this was not typical:
A. He has no idea he's being recorded...well this is pretty normal...but his enduring lack of awareness is not.
B. He is in his office and he seems to be working diligently. When has he ever been shown in his office working harder than he plays?
C. Judging by the mountain of paper work and his unkempt, unpolished, devil-may-care appearance he appears to have been here for a while.
And
D. The look on his face suggests he's in a very bad mood on this very fine day.
Which doesn't help when his secretary comes in to check his pulse, thus disturbing the furious flow of his work. And the community is treated to the following interaction:]
What are you doing?
I wanted to make sure you were alive...you've holed yourself up and you haven't come out for hours. Aren't you hungry? Tired?
I'm neither, now leave me, I'm busy.
Clearly something is bothering you, you're more dedicated to your paper work than normal. Won't you trust me and tell me what it is?
I've learned a valuable lesson about naiveté and trust and that it's okay to trust people up till and except when evidence to the contrary proves you're mistaken. Then you're just being gullible.
Anything I can help with?
No, please leave.
But I'm really concerned about you.
I don't need you to be, now leave me alone.
But Mr. Gavin-
[The usually tolerant Klavier brings his fist down hard against the table he's working at sending some papers and a few unstable items flying off while startling his secretary. For a moment his expression is a bit unhinged and vaguely reminiscent of another Gavin.]
Oh!
I said get out!
Yes...you're right...I apologize...
[And soon enough Klavier is alone again in his office and though he seems calm his mood hasn't changed.]
Damn...
[ooc: Normal text is Klavier, italics belong to his secretary.]

He has the distinct impression he's lost the chance to get the other raw and emotional. The question is whether to take that dismissal and call it a day, whip him back up again, or to just haul off and beat him senseless.
A fist fight's not very satisfying if he isn't angry enough to potentially swing back. He won't really understand why he's being hit, either. That just makes it bullying him, if he can't hit him enough to be satisfied or to let anything go.]
You don't got time for this. You gotta spoil him on that whole romantic holiday thing that's coming up. But don't make him feel pressured; what he says he wants out of you right now' just the cheap shit he's gonna feel like shit over later. Make it somethin' with no pressure, but enough you can fake it meaning somethin later so he doesn't feel like he's pulling a Me.
Ah. And he hates feelin' helpless when his friends're in a jam. So make up somethin' that you were pissed off about today for him to help you out with, since you blew him off today... Don't hit him with anything true. It'll just be a messy pain. You wanted to go into the acting field, anyway.

Hn...[And he looks down at the sheet of paper once again, reading it aloud] ear cartilage, eyebrow, nose, lip, nipple, or belly button...what do you think, Herr?
[action spam]
[He finally stands up off of the desk, giving his cigarette a good twisting step into the carpet to make sure it's out, around so much scattered paper.] I think you don't need another piercing. Yer... shiny... and attention grabbing enough.
[action spam]
[And that's all he has to say about that since he's distracted.] You think so...says here I should get a belly ring...but I'm not getting my belly button pierced, it's never done anything to me...hn...

What, are you in some kinda rebellious phase now? Izzat what the contrary shit's about? You want a tattoo, too?
[action spam]
Nope, not me, a little miss sweet sixteen. I have relatives outside of the ones I've told you about to avoid any confusion. Are you trying to say a navel ring wouldn't look good on me? You have something against innies?

Bath... tub... [His hand slips from Klavier's shirt as his expression goes bland.
He said the kid was that turned on by just a scalp massage, but he didn't say it was in a bathtub. People are traditionally naked in those. Not the hot tub, right? The bathtub?
A scalp massage. In other words, washing his hair, right? Right? That's what comes to mind immediately.
He was trying to imply it was just an accident, wasn't he?! Who the hell climbs naked into a bathtub and starts bathing someone and doesn't expect it to be a turn on, when they look like that?! His eye twitches. The answer's obvious. The kind of person who thinks Greed doesn't really want to do him, the kind of guy who doesn't get that he's been resisting him since December when there was the opportunity to join the Mile High club, the kind of guy who doesn't get that a strip show is at least as erotic as it is unnerving.
His ego should be healthier than that!!!
Greed takes a few steps back, palm over his face as he groans.]

[And he just buttoned and smoothed most of the wrinkles out of his shirt too.
Yes. Klavier said bath.
Well the original plan was to pick Issei up out of the doldrums with a day of Klavier style pampering, and the monk was usually highly resistant when it came to him so Klavier's intentions were pure. Well, they were as pure as they could get, he wasn't trying to be seductive anyway, at best he intended to make Issei comfortable in his presence by toning himself down.
Still, a series of unexpected things happened and Issei, who Klavier imagined would never find a sexual interest in him, had his interest piqued. Really, there wasn't much he could do at that point.]
What? I told you it wasn't intentional, he's never had that kind of interest in be before so I wasn't exactly prepared for it either.

It's not even a matter of being stubborn or winning or losing, though; it's sheer duty at this point. Some days, rare days, he hates his job.]
What's it gonna take to get you going at it with him like there ain't a problem?
[action spam]
[Now, where the hell is his pen.]
Your word that whatever happens it's none of your business.
