[As the camera cuts on, the scene that plays out is a highly unusual one and more than a little uncharacteristic where Klavier is concerned.

What’s highly unusual about the situation is that Klavier is presently in an ICU unit with a large glass window separating the viewer from the events inside of the room and preventing them from fully understanding what is going on. Even if you could hear anything it would take a really adept ear to pick up on the frenzied muddle of conversation.

So what is Klavier doing in ICU? Well presently it’s uncertain why, but there’s a struggle going on between the doctors, nurses and everyone’s favorite ex-rocker/prosecutor who they are trying to pin to the bed. Unfortunately Klavier seems to be going out of his way to give his caretakers a hard time. One of the nurses, male, has the misfortune of putting his face in the path of the prosecutor’s fist resulting in what would probably be a nasty black-eye later. Several other nurses are thrown off or knocked out of the way during the struggle.

In between slugging it out with the hospital faculty he is further hampering them by ripping off his electrodes and pulling out his IV until he’s forcefully slammed down and his wrists and ankles are restrained. A nurse can be seen jabbing a needle into his arm which is obviously a sedative of some sort because it doesn’t take long for his body to go limp and the struggling to cease.

Not much can be seen afterward because blinds are closed, but there is a small queue of people ready to harass the doctor once he steps out into the hallway. This may illuminate the situation a little bit, but for the most part the following conversation is somewhat vague:]

So, what’s wrong with him?

We’re not really sure at this point; he has a laundry list of symptoms including light sensitivity, confusion, delirium, convulsions, headaches, tachycardia, and there could be others. It seems consistent with the other patients who were at The Alinea...we’re still trying to find the common source…

You know, there were some important diplomats from Europe there, I understand the Minister’s wife was also…

You think someone did this on purpose?

It could be. You think Prosecutor Gavin will be up to the task if this turns out to be a CI?

We don’t even know who the criminal is if there is one.

Or why those people got sick, for all we know the monkfish could have been bad.

We’re getting a little ahead of ourselves, we have to find out what’s wrong with the patients first and then you can determine whether it was an accident or if there was some kind of criminal activity involved...

[The feed cuts off with the ongoing conspiracy and a doctor who is being completely dismissed.]

Belladonna berries look a great deal like blueberries and they have a sweet taste...it wouldn't be the first time someone's made that mistake...but it could be criminal. Anyway, there's nothing I can do like this except wait.

Bull fucking shit! Who the hell doesn't know what kinda plant they're putting in the food, huh?! It's not like big fancy important dinners just have their fruits and vegetables picked out in the wild! I...really don't know anything right now...they use Belladonna in some medicines so...anything could have happened...I'll just have to wait and see what comes out in the wash.

Yeah, there are detectives looking into it, naturally, some pretty important people got sick so there are...all kinds of people getting involved.

How bad...well I ate enough to get really sick but not enough to die...so I'm only going to be out of commission for a little while...and they haven't let me out of this bed for any reason in hours...so I'm really miserable.

As far as I know there shouldn't be any lasting damage, at least I don't think so. The doctors are still working on it. I'll live, if nothing else, but nobody is giving me anything definite as far as side effects go.

Yeah, I am...I guess that's why they're being so careful about what they want to tell me in case they get it wrong.

They should tell you... everything that could go wrong... but say they got sure-fire treatments... and.... charge you up the ass.... whether somethin's wrong or not... then it should all end up perfectly fine so you got no reason to complain even if they robbed you blind...

It doesn't really matter...I might be able to complain later, but right now I don't have the strength to. I just have to trust them to do their job until I can get my strength back.

[Greed takes a minute to fight down the urge to somehow order him to guarantee a full recovery. He's pretty rough with the cigarette he digs out, but after lighting up and taking a hit, he forces himself to calm down.]

Seemed strong enough to handle quite a few of 'em at once, a few hours ago.

I was delirious and convulsing...but mostly delirious...I'm not sure I knew what was going on or who I was at the time, but the meds have sucked the strength right out of me. I'm not sure the restraints are necessary anymore.

Maybe they just think yer sexy tied down.

Any idea how long you'll be there?

There's nothing really sexy about this and I'm not feeling all that sexy either, just deficient and sick as a dog.

A week or so for observaion, then I'll be allowed to rest at home and take care of myself until my head is screwed on right.

You'll get a bunch of cute nurses fawning over you just like you always wanted. Once they get over the whole fear of you beating the shit out of them thing.

((ooc: In that case, with your permission, he will break the lock with brute force, snoop for any visible security cameras and cover them with sticky notes saying: "Welcome Home" and "Congradulations (sic) on not dying" before attempting to feed the animals. Vongole will get steaks and raw hamburger. Viola will get fruit, minced meat, vegetables, bread and sugar cubes because he has no idea what sugar gliders eat. God willing the fish has labeled food next to the tank, otherwise he will find live worms and drop them in. It works for fishing, right?

As for cleaning, if it smells he will just dump all the litter in the nearest trash can, so the room will still smell. If Vongole goes inside the house, he'll pick it up as long as it's easy and not stuck to carpet. Otherwise he'll throw paper over it and hope it doesn't attract flies.

He'll try to play some of his instruments, rearrange his wall of guitars, go for a joyride and then hide his motorcycle keys inside one of the hardest to get to, unmoved guitars, hide any other keys inside of things in his sex room, steal copiously from his liquor supply, use his jacuzzi/pool (and probably see if Vongole wants to swim, too, since he's not getting much exercise; wet dog hair everywhere), and move things around in his bathroom.

He'll stop coming as soon as there's a sign somebody else has been by/is taking care of things.))

How do you know that's what I've always wanted? Anyway the circumstances could be a little less...well...I'm not exactly at my best.

[ooc: Klavier does have a maid, she'll check in...and then she'll wonder what the hell is going on inside of Klavier's house and Klavier will return to fat pets and little pooh camps all over the place. It won't take him long to figure out what happened especially when he sees the sticky notes...and then Klavier will convince himself that he has to move.]
