Video

[By now Klavier's home is a familiar place, but Klavier laid up in bed...not so much, he's paler than usual, he has a cold compress trapped to his forehead and the look of a man who hasn't slept in days. He's not the usual glimmerous looking fop...so why is he laughing so hard that he's coughing and crying?

Klavier is sitting up in bed with his laptop and laptop table across his knee, he's apparently watching something that's putting him into hysterics. The viewer can probably hear snatches of what's being said through Klavier's laughter, but for the most part they just hear Klavier's laughter.

Once whatever Klavier is watching over he leans back against his pillow rubbing at his eyes.]

Ach weh man *cough* it hurts so much.

[ooc: I've been irredeemably lax this past week T-T so sorry about that, I had a crazy midterm and a test. Also Klavier is just sick, not virused or anything. I didn't sign any of my characters up for events this past week+ due to the midterm XD]

You get it, you get it! I always thought it was pretty simple, but a lotta people don't get it at all!

[occ: ...Is your post before last, set between two 2011 posts, timestamped 2007 for you, too?]

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-02-22 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
Of course I get it, I became a rock star for the immortality aspect...at least partially.

[ooc: weird (http://i52.tinypic.com/2h3nga9.gif) livejournal's got some bizarre glitches going on.]

It's a little different, but that's right. As for me, I'm not too attached to this particular body one way or the other; one that can't die's the top big thing I need!

[ooc: This conversation never happened.]

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-02-22 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
The only drawback for me about living forever is...well...do I really want to be around to see the sun explode?

[ooc: And it shall never be spoken of again \0/ jeez eljay]
material_guy: (Are-re-re?)

[personal profile] material_guy 2011-02-22 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
Sun... explode?

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-02-22 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, the sun is a star, right? Stars explode eventually...ours has got about 5 billion years of life left to it. It'll swell up, devour Mercury, Venus, and it'll come close enough to Earth to toast it. The core will collapse and explode...taking out the solar system...there will be catastrophes inside of catastrophes. Not something I'd want to witness.
material_guy: (Do you hear yourself?)

[personal profile] material_guy 2011-02-22 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
Sure it will, Pretty Boy. Sure it will. What's that stuff you're drinkin' again?

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-02-22 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
No lie, space is a terrifying place. If I had to choose between going to Mars on a space ship or taking a punch from you I'd take a punch from you any day.
material_guy: (Ponder ponder ponder...)

[personal profile] material_guy 2011-02-22 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
Is that--... Tch.

You got no sense of adventure. But I'd pick world hopping over something as slow as a ship. Space is far away. I got shit to take care of and own on this planet. Even if I'd live forever, I wouldn't wanna waste that time too much in gettin' from one place I own to another.

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-02-22 02:18 am (UTC)(link)
I have a sense of adventure, but I also have a sense of self preservation. Self preservation always seems to win no matter what. I'll climb a mountain, I'll sky dive, I'll scuba dive...but I like gravity.
material_guy: (Herr Slickmeister)

[personal profile] material_guy 2011-02-22 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
Ain't gravity what makes shit sag and wrinkles form and all those other major aging signs start showin'?

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-02-22 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
I have to ask myself what's worse? A little eventual sagging...or bone decaying, organs failing and space radiation...not to mention the lack of air. I'm young, reasonably healthy and I have skin like an elastic rubber band. I'd like to keep it for now.
material_guy: (On the money)

[personal profile] material_guy 2011-02-22 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
The answer's in finding an immortal body that can't rot or get old or break down or any of that! Then I can have everything.

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-02-22 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
In the meantime you have to stay alive, right?
material_guy: (Hmm...)

[personal profile] material_guy 2011-02-22 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
I get what you're sayin'. But not gettin' what you want 'cause it'll cost ya is the kinda thing I can't stand. A little risk-balancing is just strategy. Put it off forever though and it's just an excuse. I'm too greedy to put off somethin' I want for too long even if it's dangerous.

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-02-22 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but I don't want to go into space. There are a hundred other things I'd put myself in a risky situation for, that's not one of them.
material_guy: (Shrug)

[personal profile] material_guy 2011-02-22 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
That's right. You don't wanna live forever anyway, so you got no reason to wanna go into space and fix the sun.

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-02-22 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
Eh...you can't fix the sun, unless you wanted to make the sun immortal or something. Otherwise it's going to age and eventually die.
material_guy: (Breezy)

[personal profile] material_guy 2011-02-22 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
I wanna be the only immortal one... but it's a problem if if burns my shit up when it goes. Stuff needs a sun to live, too. But I've got a few billion years to work on that! You'll be gone by then, so it's not somethin' to worry about!

[ooc: Unless he can time travel, which LJ seems to be insinuating. January 2007 must have been a good time.]

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-02-22 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but it would be a benefit for you to look into making an immortal sun. It's not alive and it can't retaliate so you'd be safe with it...or you could discover a new planet.

But you'll still have ages if you find that key to immortality.

[ooc: XD there is a parallel between lj and ddd.]

All comes back around to finding immortality first. That's why it's on top of the list.

What's on the top of yours, anyway?

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-02-22 04:12 am (UTC)(link)
Exactly, find that first and worry about the rest later.

That's a difficult one, I have a lot of ambitions. It's hard to prioritize them.
material_guy: (Shrug)

[personal profile] material_guy 2011-02-22 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
Nothing difficult today. I'll let'cha off the hook with that.

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-02-22 09:47 am (UTC)(link)
I've always been a little flighty with these kinds of things since nothing is ever set in stone.
material_guy: (On the money)

[personal profile] material_guy 2011-02-22 10:41 am (UTC)(link)
Let's call it flexible instead of flighty.
