Hope everyone had a happy holiday. I was pleasantly surprised by my oma and opa this year. They flew all the way out to L.A. to see me...and bless them, they didn't bring my parents.

I didn't get back to the office until late this afternoon so it was a nice treat to find presents for me there too.

Henry, the book you put together is amazing, I'm sure it took you a while to find all of those compositions and put them all together like this.

That mirror you gave me, Herr Greed, is absurd...I love it. I spent an entire afternoon putting things in front of it...and I've found a very practical use for it.

Herr Justice, I'm not sure who Sheryl Nome is, but the CD was superb and so were the plecks! As for the finger painting...I wonder who gave you that bit of inspiration. It's going on my wall in the office!

Daryan I had a nice chat, sorry I couldn't stay a little longer, but visiting time was limited. Hope you enjoyed the gifts.

On a more serious note...is it un-neighborly to want to put up a hedge between your home and your new neighbor's home? I say this because I have these new neighbors...moved in not too long ago and they have a very interesting lifestyle. They're nice people and all but... I did get some very unhelpful advice when I went to the office. An associate of mine told me to write an anonymous letter...a brilliant idea in theory until you get down to the writing:

Dear Neighbors,

Not that I don't enjoy the view, but your bedroom window looks right into my bedroom window. I would be much obliged if you'd invest in some curtains.

You might be surprised to know that there aren't that many things in the world that I'm really particular about. It's always the important things like music and image. Being a pleasing bedmate is one of those things and it's even more personal. It's also not something a guy could bring up to a girl, but since you're a guy it's different.

M'not surprised at all. I know you pretty well, y'know... So, I know if you ask like you did, it's important to you, and personal. We won't worry about what you can and can't do with girls, since we're both guys here... kinda... but guy or girl, guys shouldn't talk about anything too personal AND important with someone they've fucked. Personal, like talkin' about body parts that're hot's usually okay. But not with guys, unless it's talkin' about someone else's hot personal parts. Important, like pick up lines with music, that's fine. Anything too important like actually thinkin' about music where it gets so important it's personal's out. And if it gets personal in the other kinda personal way, the not-body way, it's only sometimes okay with other guys, but only if it's not important. But it's completely off limits if you're ever even thinking you might wanna fuck someone some day.

So the moral of this story is...don't talk about anything that's personal with you. I think I've got it.

You can't say something like that after I've gone and learned my lesson from this experience.

If I don't, you'll think you really can't when you can! I can't dodge around about the rules of the game, we're already confused enough there as it is!
