[This is an answer, in his book. A kiss doesn’t have to mean anything but words have too many meanings lost between people, between them especially. He’s always been rough. He’s always left a signature of bruises along the other’s body, and he’s always been on that edge of ravenous and attentive; teeth and nails don’t break the skin, no matter how eager his mouth is. So today it won’t mean anything either. He’s not naïve enough to mistake receptiveness for understanding, but light kisses feel good in themselves. Even if it’s just stress relief, feeling the limber body arch in his hands is a rush.

He still doesn’t attribute Klavier’s initial mood to anything he did; the information is there, knowing the time he came in, that his mood was just fine the night before at least before they talked, but he can’t make the connection. His unwelcome presence after a fight is just icing on some other cake. But he wanted in on it. Helpful or hurtful, he wanted in on anything that mattered enough to get Klavier worked up enough to lose his cool. To Greed, an emotional reaction with no time to think is an honest one.

So sex at a time like this is dangerous, emotionally charged. By somebody else, but that’s fine. He’ll take it. He’s the greediest, after all. As he shifts his weight back onto his feet and off of his arm, his hand runs down the blonde’s other side, both on his waistline and giving his pants a sharp tug, seeing if he can make them come down without undoing them, hoping to watch the attorney squirm and thrash on top of his own desk to help him strip him down, while he’s being so cooperative.]
