[As the camera cuts on, the scene that plays out is a highly unusual one and more than a little uncharacteristic where Klavier is concerned.

What’s highly unusual about the situation is that Klavier is presently in an ICU unit with a large glass window separating the viewer from the events inside of the room and preventing them from fully understanding what is going on. Even if you could hear anything it would take a really adept ear to pick up on the frenzied muddle of conversation.

So what is Klavier doing in ICU? Well presently it’s uncertain why, but there’s a struggle going on between the doctors, nurses and everyone’s favorite ex-rocker/prosecutor who they are trying to pin to the bed. Unfortunately Klavier seems to be going out of his way to give his caretakers a hard time. One of the nurses, male, has the misfortune of putting his face in the path of the prosecutor’s fist resulting in what would probably be a nasty black-eye later. Several other nurses are thrown off or knocked out of the way during the struggle.

In between slugging it out with the hospital faculty he is further hampering them by ripping off his electrodes and pulling out his IV until he’s forcefully slammed down and his wrists and ankles are restrained. A nurse can be seen jabbing a needle into his arm which is obviously a sedative of some sort because it doesn’t take long for his body to go limp and the struggling to cease.

Not much can be seen afterward because blinds are closed, but there is a small queue of people ready to harass the doctor once he steps out into the hallway. This may illuminate the situation a little bit, but for the most part the following conversation is somewhat vague:]

So, what’s wrong with him?

We’re not really sure at this point; he has a laundry list of symptoms including light sensitivity, confusion, delirium, convulsions, headaches, tachycardia, and there could be others. It seems consistent with the other patients who were at The Alinea...we’re still trying to find the common source…

You know, there were some important diplomats from Europe there, I understand the Minister’s wife was also…

You think someone did this on purpose?

It could be. You think Prosecutor Gavin will be up to the task if this turns out to be a CI?

We don’t even know who the criminal is if there is one.

Or why those people got sick, for all we know the monkfish could have been bad.

Or if Prosecutor Gavin will even feel up to the task.

We’re getting a little ahead of ourselves, we have to find out what’s wrong with the patients first and then you can determine whether it was an accident or if there was some kind of criminal activity involved...

[The feed cuts off with the ongoing conspiracy and a doctor who is being completely dismissed.]

Well...yes, naturally...but there's a problem since it's a hospital and the added worry that you'd work me up and leave me anyway...but it's still a yes.

Mmhn. [Greed cups his chin, feigning thought for all of half a second before shrugging, then sliding his hand up his face and through his hair.] Yeah... it'd be dangerous. A bad thing. Hard to get away with... but it's safe to imagine, ain't it? And you have got a real good imagination...

That's not safe, that's still risky...I managed to escape death by poison, if there was such a thing as death by humiliation... It's not something I mind in a dark place or a private place, but popping a wheelie here [let's forget for a second that he has no means of taking care of it] it's unfair!

What sort of fairy-tale are you trying to put in my head [he says as he stops watching the screen, not giving a definitive yes or no this time] who'd wish so hard for something that can't be delivered.

Breaking into a thin smirk, Greed focuses on the camera again, trying to slip from a conversational tone back to attempted seduction.] Oi. That...well that's sort of...since it was a virus it's not like reality could stop it anyway...[if Klavier could rub his chin thoughtfully he would, he has to settle for giving him a thoughtful expression]...Well if I can't have you here then shouldn't I have you anyway I want in my fantasy? But that virus was posting our thoughts so it's not quite as good in my head as it might have been seeing it in action.

Me over there in person's not impossible. Even if it's a long-shot, it's possible. And once I'm in there, that's a fantasy we can supplement with a little reality.

Really? [well that sounded a little too anxious] Ah...but I'm not at my best...and...yeah I know, but nobody likes to be seen at their weakest.

[Greed gives a triumphantly widening grin at that 'really'. Immediately he shifts on the couch and readjusts the camera so he can watch the screen and leer at the lens at the same time.] It'll be a chance to just lay back and feel good. You can't even make a show of yerself like that. No obligations. You don't even gotta worry about looking good. Not if I'm already wanting you, looking at you when you look like that.

[And Klavier is still having a hard time looking back at the screen] Ah, yeah, but you're only saying that to get me worked up!

Do I lie?

Well...no, I suppose not...

And even if you're not at your hottest today, right now you're really, really beautiful.

Alright, alright, I get it, you don't have to lie to make fun of me, but you are teasing. My sense of humor is still working.

Well, if you're really not up to it...

It's hard to really get worked up if it's just words, Herr, you should take it easy or else I'll take you seriously.

It'll be a problem if you always write me off as a joke. Don't make a habit of it just 'cause I'm lettin' you off today.

But today I know you're not serious, not with the beautiful nonsense, I can see through that. It would be a let down for me if I couldn't.
